Job Summary:

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for recording all
financial and operational transactions in QuickBooks, ensuring accurate and timely
financial reporting. The Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in preparing
weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to support business
decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately record all financial transactions in QuickBooks, ensuring
  completeness and correctness of entries.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable,
  accounts receivable, and bank accounts.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (profit
  and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements).
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis to support
  strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including filing VAT, income tax,
  and other statutory obligations.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring accurate and organized
  documentation.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring efficient financial operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to track operational expenses and revenue.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting
  efficiency.
• Ensure all financial records are properly documented and securely stored.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Liberian tax laws and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG industry is a plus.
